Output through the years — from 17 to legend
Ronaldo scored his first career goal at age 17 for Sporting CP in October 2002. His output grew steadily through his Manchester United years, but it was at Real Madrid that he reached his absolute peak: age 27 produced 67 goals, age 28 produced 64, and age 29 produced 61 — three consecutive seasons of extraordinary output that no other player has matched at that stage of their career. What makes Ronaldo's age chart unique is what came after: rather than declining sharply, he maintained prolific output well into his mid-30s and beyond, challenging every assumption about how a footballer ages. At 40 he continues to score regularly for Al Nassr and Portugal.
